Volunteers are at the heart of the APL!  With only a small paid staff to keep up with the never-ending flow of homeless pets, the APL's mission depends on the generosity and dedication of the whole community.  Just an hour or two a week makes a BIG difference, and there are so many ways to help...one of them is bound to be a perfect fit for YOU!
RECEPTIONIST
The front desk at the APL is a busy place - and that's a good thing - but it makes it hard for the staff to keep up some days!  Your cheerful and patient nature is perfect for greeting the public and answering their questions, in person and on the phone.
PHOTOGRAHER
Utilize your eye for beauty to help homeless pets put their best paws forward.  Research shows that pictures which show animals at their best increases their chance for adoption.  Your high-quality photos could make the difference!
