The Shelter Pet Project
Wendy Shick and Beverly Windle generously donated fifty 2010 calendars of original photographs taken by Wendy during 2009 at Lakeshore Park of the mute swan adult pair and four cygnets (babies). These are quality photographs taken over a five-month period. Wendy's family and friends enjoyed the photographs so much, their comments prompted her to produce the calendar to help area charities. Wendy is currently a CPA, but earlier in life was a sports photographer for Associated Press and The Star-Beacon.
These calendars are now on sale at APL locations for $10.00 each and would make a great stocking stuffer.
All proceeds benefit the APL.

During the first month of collections, the APL provided Country Neighbor Pet Food Bank with more than 900lbs of dry pet food! Keep bringing in those donations! Our hope is that if we continue to make programs like this available, fewer animals will be surrendered to shelters in our area.
