About Kent State Ashtabula Campus: Kent State University at Ashtabula is part of a major research university, but looks and feels like a small, private college. On the shores of Lake Erie, it is the northernmost campus of Kent State’s eight-campus system. Parking will be on site. Be sure to wear the appropriate footwear for the time of year and weather conditions. The walk is not timed, and there are water and poop pick up stations along the way.
